These lovely copper babies are made from two wheat pennies. Heads on one side and tails on the other. They are formed into domes, sanded for a good soldering surface, and then soldered together using silver solder. Then 1.5mm holes are drilled. You can choose the orientation for the holes. Good for beadalon wire or tiny chain. Keep in mind yer clasp might be larger and might need soldered on after stringing.
Each bead is about 17-18mm diameter and 11-12mm wide.
Why are they so expensive? Yes each bead is only two pennies, but the labor and love that goes into making each one and the final result is worth it!
