Buffalo Nickel Saucer Beads
These lovely beads are made from two buffalo nickels. Heads on one side and tails on the other. They are formed into domes, sanded for a good soldering surface, and then soldered together using silver solder. Then holes are drilled. You can choose 1.5mm or 3mm. Good for cables or small 3mm chain. Keep in mind yer clasp might be larger and might need soldered on after stringing. Or if you want them side/vertical drilled for earrings so they face forward. Those are best drilled at 1.5mm in order to not drill into the face/back of the coin.
Each bead is about 19-20mm diameter and 11-12mm wide.
Why are they so expensive? Yes each bead is only two nickels, but they are collectable, hard to get, the labor and love that goes into making each one and the final result is worth it!
Beads made to order. Please allow for 3-5 days for production before shipping! Some orders are completed faster.
